Predictions

Given that the project is focused in the properties of steel following a quench, some martensite may form, more likely in the higher carbon steel (0.5%C).
The slower cooled steels will have higher rates of carbon diffusion, so concentrated areas of carbides at the edges of grains are also more likely.
Ferrite will be dominant factor in the low carbon steel. Pearlite will become more important in the medium carbon steel. This steel are more likely to be harder, but also more brittle. Especially if martensite is formed.
